Ramadan: Osun CYMS Seceratry, Abideen Rejoices with Muslims
The Osun State Secretary, Committee of Youths on Mobilizations and Sensitization, Abideen Okandeji has rejoiced with Muslim faithful across the world on the occasion of this year’s Ramadan fasting.
He noted that it was only by the grace of Allah that the Muslims are yet again witnessing the Holy month of Ramadan despite the current public health challenge which has been threatening the world in the last two years.
The CYMS Secretary who stated this in a Ramadan message he personally made available to Daily Mail, enjoined Muslims and other people to continue to adhere to all COVID-19 protocols as laid down by the World Health Organisation, WHO with a view to flattening the curve.
He expressed conviction that the challenge posed by coronavirus is not insurmountable as long as people take precautionary measures.
Okandeji then prayed Almighty Allah to grant Muslims all the wherewithal to sail through the period of Ramadan and accept all they put into it as acts of worship.
He also called on Nigerian youths in general and Osun State in particular to be good ambassadors of their homes, schools, States and the nation at large, saying their future is now to become the leaders in all strata of the society.
