‘Treat Patients As If They Are Your Family’ – UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital CMD Admonishes Staff
The Chief Medical Director, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Professor Peter Babatunde Olaitan has implored members of staff of the hospital to attend to patients as if they were attending to their family members and take them as their brothers and sisters.
Prof. Olaitan made this call during inter-religious prayer session held in the hospital to usher in the New year.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Ayodele Adeyemo and made available to Daily Mail, the CMD said, at any point members of staff should take their jobs as being ordained by God and take it as a way to serve humanity.
He commands his personal motto to all staff which says “When you do good unto all, God will pay you in double folds”.
Prof. Olaitan said the Management will try its best to give whatever benefits and due entitlements to every staff saying: “if any staff has any suggestions on how to move the hospital forward, such person should feel free to share the idea with me or any member of Management.”
Also speaking at the program, the Director of Administration, Mr Anthony Fabule commended the Governor of Osun State Mr Gboyega Oyetola for his usual supports to the hospital. He also appreciated all members of staff of the hospital for their Commitments and cooperation to work last year.
The prayer session was held in a convivial environment full of radiance and excitement.
