Veteran Journalists Charge Adeleke To Use New Title To Build Bridges
The League of Veteran Journalists in Osun state has charged Governor Ademola Adeleke to use his new title of Asiwaju of Edeland to build frontiers of unity,love and understanding among peoples’of the state.
In a congratulatory message, the newly installed Asiwaju of Edeland was admonished to carry along people, irrespective of Religion, culture, Politics and status.
The release jointly signed by Adepoju Atobatele and Olusola Ajiboye, Chairman and Secretary of the league,the Veteran pen pushers called on Governor Adeleke to see beyond the prestige of his title and employ it as an instrument of service to all.
The League of Veteran Journalists wants the Adeleke dynasty to consider itself lucky to have earned the Asiwaju of Ede title for the second time.
” You should therefore be enamored to sustain the legacy of humanism which your illustrious family is noted, by placing the interest of your people always in your heart”..The release added.
While advocating a robust platform for objective assessment of Government policies and programs,the Veteran Journalists called on public and Political office holders to see Osun state as a larger picture deserving of everybody’s protection for progress and development.
