Village Head Eight Others Slaughtered In Zamfara Community Fresh Attack
A village Head and eight others has been slaughtered in a fresh attack on community in Zamfara State.
Suspected gunmen in their large numbers invaded Tungar Ruwa village in Anka local government area of Zamfara state and killed scores of people.
According to a source who pleaded anonymity, the gunmen invaded the town in the midnight of Wednesday ransacked the entire village firing gunshots at the residents
He said the attack resulted in the killing of nine persons including the village head who was slaughtered in the presence of his subjects.
According to the source , “they (gunmen) invaded the house of the village head, brought him to the public and slaughtered him.”
He added that, “the gunmen equally rustled undisclosed number of livestock and also bugled some shops and carted away with food stuffs.”
Daily Mail learnt that residents of the community, especially women have fled the village due to the fear of another attack.
