General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Monday said the church has not floated any government regulations by still tweeting.

This was in a reacted to the Federal Government’s suspension of the operations of the micro blogging and social networking service, Twitter, in Nigeria.

Adeboye said tweets by his church were within purview of the United Nations declaration on human rights, irrespective of the suspension of Twitter operations by the federal government.

He said: “The Redeemed Christian Church of God is domiciled in more than 170 Nations & Territories. The tweets here are in accordance to Article 19 of the UN universal declaration of Human Rights.”
