Police Arrest Barber For Stabbing One To Death, Injuring 2 Others

The Osun State Police Command has arrested and paraded a barber who allegedly killed a man and injured two others by stabbing them with scissors
The suspect, 23 year old Abdulafeez Shorinmade claimed to be possessed by an evil spirit.
He said most of his actions were controlled by an unknown spirit which instructee him to perpetrate the act.
The command also arrested and paraded five other suspects for various crimes.
Addressing journalist, the command Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola said the crimes committed by the suspects bothered on conspiracy and robbery.
She said 36 year old Sunday Johnson and 45 year old Obisesan Amos, were arrested for an alleged murder of an old whose decomposing body was found in a forest by the police.
According to her “one Chief Oladepo Asaolu ‘m’ aged 72 years; (reportedly) left his house at Kereja area, Ora-Igbomina at about 0500hrs of 5/10/2022 with an unknown commercial motorcyclist and yet to return home after four days.
“Immediately the report was received, Police swung into action and through intelligence led investigation, the principal suspect one Sunday Johnson was arrested. The arrest of the first suspect led to the arrest of one other suspect named Obisesan Amos. The suspects led Police Detectives to Akisa forest where the victim was killed and dumped.
“The suspects confessed that, they killed the victim in order to inherit his farm land. Both suspects will be charged to court after the completion of investigation” Opalola said.
