Subsidy Removal: Pathway To Sustainable Growth, Development – Basiru

The National Secretary of the All Progressivea Congress (APC), Senator Ajibola Basiru has said President Bola Tinubu is running people-oriented and pro-masses government.

He maintained that the recent removal of subsidy is the best way to ensure sustainable economic growth and development of Nigeria.

Basiru was speaking in Osogbo during a reception programme organised in his honour by members of the APC in Osogbo Federal Constituency to celebrate his emergence as the national Scribe of the party.

He assured Nigerians that the nation is on the part of prosperity and all-round development under the administration of Tinubu led government, saying introduction of palliatives is just a temporary measure to cushion the negative effects of subsidy removal.

Addressing the gathering on behalf of other chairmen from the Southwest, the Ondo APC Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimeyin charged members of the party on unity of purpose and love for the party.

He assured Basiru that all the party chairmen in the Southwest are solidly behind him as they pledged their support and total loyalty for him to succeed.

Leaders of the party in Osun State expressed their conviction that Basiru had performed creditably well in all his previous assignments and the latest task would not be a difference.
