Let’s Imbibe The Spirit Of Love At Christmas – Timi of Ede

The Paramount ruler of Ede Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa The 1st has admonished his subjects love one another in the spirit of Christmas.

Oba Lawal made the remarks on the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ.

In a release made available to Daily Mail through his Director of Communication, Dapo Akinyele, and personally signed by the monarch on Tuesday in Ede.

The monarch also saluted the courage of his subjects, noting that inspite of many challenges occasioned by the economic situation in the country, they still remain resolute in the quest to make a meaningful impact to the success of the ancient town.

Oba Adesola also used the Christmas occasion to advise all sons and daughters of Ede to contribute their quota to the development of the town.

He said, “the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ should not be seen as merry making only, but it should serve as a season of love and kindness to the downtrodden in the society

“Finally, let me also enjoined you all to give necessary support to the administration of our illustrious son, Asiwaju Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, The executive Governor of Osun state in his desire to provide dividends of democracy to all in Osun state

“Let me also use this medium to appeal to our youths not to embark on unnecessary Christmas or new year carnival, you are all aware that the era of gangsterism has gone for good

“I wish you all a merry Christmas and happy new year in advance.”
